I wanted you to know that your staff has restored my 13-year-old waterfall and pond combination to a fantastic water feature for our garden. And they did it on time, under budget and exceeded my greatest expectations!

A few weeks ago, my water feature developed a leak and Judy and I had to decide the best way to fix it. A neighbor recommended a company that had just done a water feature for him. That competitor to you made us a proposal to completely re-build my waterfall and pond for around $13-$15,000 dollars. My wife and I could not afford something like that and she formed a contingency plan- drain the pond and put flower pots on each of the levels of the water fall.

That is when I called you and Splendor Koi and Pond. You and your staff determined within ten minutes the source of the leak and gave me a proposal to improve the performance and overall appearance of the waterfall and make the pond into a thriving area for fish to grow and be enjoyed by  our grand children and us.

I watched in awe as your staff members worked together to replace all the rocks removed to correct the leak, power sprayed it, vacuumed out years of debris and when they finished and filled the pool, the had placed all the rocks in perfect position so no water runs out or splashes over. Not one rock had to be repositioned! I am still trying to figure out how they knew where the water was going!

But sir, you not only delivered what you said you would, you did it a couple hundred dollars under a $1500 budget! FANTASTIC! Most important though, you did not just give me a revitalized pond, but thanks to the great filtration and UV system you put in, I now have an outdoor aquarium for the grand kids to keep their fish in!

I would like to take time personally to thank you and recommend your pond building services to others.  During the snow my professionally built pond back wall collapsed from the weight of snow (the company who built the pond is no longer in business) and I found my fish on ice at the bottom of a dry pond because the pump had pumped all the water out.  Chuck was available to help even though he did not do the first build and I saved the majority of the fish from dry snow and ice.  It was an episode with my insurance company but Chuck helped me through the process, sending repair estimates and talking with the insurance reps.  He was a wealth of knowledge and a true support.

Thankfully, I can say that today my pond is truly professionally rebuilt by Splendor Koi. They did a superb job.  The new waterfall has so much eye appeal.  Chuck’s crew artistically designed it to give me the most for the buck.  I have texture and art like I never expected and the waterfall sound is amazing.  They took a statue the previous company did not know how to pipe and piped it so it is a beautiful working water addition to the back wall.  They built a cave under the fall for the safety of my fish. Most importantly they knew the importance of constructing a strong wall that will be in place for years to come.  They made the water quality safe for the aquatic survivors, including 4 big frogs that set up residence.

My four year old granddaughter who was traumatized by all Grandma’s fish being on ice that cold winter morning was so happy when Chuck himself came out and helped her friends back into their new home yesterday.  We laughed when she told Chuck that the big black one was her favorite and she was glad it didn’t die because it sucked her fingers the best when she feeds them.  Enjoying the pond and fish, listening to the water fall with the grandkids makes all the trouble in the world seem so far away.

If you are considering adding a water feature to your life I highly recommend Chuck and Splendor Koi.  I started my pond hobby with a pre-fab about 15 years ago and have visited a lot of pond and Koi show rooms. I became a customer of Atlanta koi and Pond almost two years ago. My pond (approximately 3,000 gallons) was dirty and filled with algae.

Atlanta Koi and Pond went right to work and cleaned the pond, treated the water, and got me on track as best they could with the system I had. I had been told by others that this was the correct system for me.

Chuck finally convinced me I needed a bigger more efficient system and then set to work installing it. Today, I have the most Magnificent pond. The water is very clear, and I have all the support I need to keep it that way.

The staff is very knowledgeable. If you want a great pond, Atlanta koi and Pond is the way to go!

I want to thank you ever so much for converting our existing "in the pond" filter to an external filter.  I am so happy that I no longer have to don my "waiters" to pull out the old filters, clean them and put them back in; however, I do miss going eye to eye with the fish.... and the stray frog or two!!!  Also, thank you for suggesting the color of the pond.  It shows off the fish magnificently. 

I can't say enough wonderful things about you and your crew....knowledgeable, experienced, and dedicated workers who care not only about the physical pond itself, but most definitely about the fish, even if they aren't show quality koi.  Our fish love their new environment.  Good news, bad news.  The water is now so clear, that not only can we see the fish, but so can the blue heron and a pair of hawks!  Thank goodness for the netting over the pond.

My pond, the centerpiece of my backyard, was in great danger. My husband had become disgusted with the huge amount of work involved in maintaining it, and he was threatening to fill it with cement. After fighting recurring-leak problems with our waterfall/koi pond since it was installed two years ago, we finally had enough and decided to do something about the problem.
